10:00 — Welcome, coffee/tea and an overview about the 2 days.
10:15 — Putting: aim & start line, speed control and green reading.
11:30 — Chipping & Pitching: set-up fundamentals & variables, pre-shot process, controlling distance & trajectory and proper practice.
12:45 — Distance Wedges: set-up & swing variables to control speed.
13:15 — Bunkers: escaping the sand without fear, controlling distance, variables for different lies and sand textures.
14:00 — Finish.DAY TWO
10:00 — Long Game: understanding the 3 keys to better impact (irons).
11:30 — Long Game: Tee shots; longer, straighter drives and establishing a “go to” shot
13:00 — Awkward & sloping lies.

To compliment your golf school, you will be staying in a Ribston Wing room. The rooms are traditional and retain the style of the hotel with luxury fabrics and individually selected artwork.

Rudding Park Spa is for all occasions. The Rooftop Spa is a social space with a range of hydrotherapy & thermal experiences. As a resident you will receive complimentary access to the indoor pool and juniper log sauna.

Considered as one of the best places to dine in Harrogate, Rudding Park offers a range of options for drinks, lunch, or dinner. Experience modern British food in Clocktower as part of your stay with a £49pp allowance for dinner.

The two courses were designed by renowned Open Championship golf course architect Martin Hawtree, to provide a risk and reward challenge for novice and experienced golfers.
Packages and Pricing
The Grooves Golf Retreat is available in two separate packages - your choice of 8 or 12 hours of coaching split over two days, or three days.
The two day package, with a single overnight stay at Rudding Park, is priced at £769 (single occupancy) or £1,000 (double/twin occupancy).
The three day package, with two nights at Rudding Park, is priced at £1,238 (single occupancy) or £1,660 (double occupancy).
FAQs for our UK Golf Retreat

As part of the Grooves Golf retreat package, guests will enjoy one or two nights at Rudding Park, with 8 or 12 hours of golf coaching respectively. The package also includes breakfast, lunch, an allowance for dinner, and access to all of the hotel’s amenities and luxury facilities*. All coaching sessions are hosted by our PGA professionals.
*Rooftop Spa access and treatments are subject to surcharges

Because each retreat is open to a maximum number of two guests, everyone who books onto our retreat will receive completely tailored coaching – based on their skill level and ability. Our coaching itinerary provides some idea as to the structure of each day, though this is subject to change based on each guest’s needs.

Rudding Park is one of Harrogate’s top hotels, and we are extremely excited about being able to host our retreats onsite with access to both the golf courses and facilities, and the excellent accommodation.
Golf schools are based on staying in a Ribston room with upgrades to other rooms available at additional costs.
Guests can book single or double/twin occupancy, with each option priced accordingly. -

While a big chunk of your day will be taken up with professional golf coaching, we know how important it is to relax and enjoy the other facilities on offer!
Guests who join us at Rudding Park will be free to use the sauna and pool, and onsite restaurants as well as enjoy strolling the grounds and exploring the local area.
Additional access to rooftop spa and treatments is subject to surcharges. -
To book your place on one of our golf retreats, we ask that you get in touch with us directly via the ‘Enquire Today’ button. This will send you directly to an email which asks for information on your ideal package and potential dates. We will then liaise with you directly to set up your retreat!

If you have to cancel your retreat for whatever reason, we ask for as much notice as possible.
Any cancelled retreats will be invited to book a new date but may have to pay a new deposit to secure a replacement date – subject to availability and at the discretion of our team. -
We ask that guests make their own way to Rudding Park. An expansive car park provides plenty of space for a vehicle and is free for guests to use throughout their stay.
Alternatively, guests can get the train to Harrogate centre and get a taxi or bus to the hotel.
