As an amateur, Jack competed at a high level, winning multiple club championships, a Yorkshire Order of Merit title, and the North of England U16 Championship, before continuing his career at a Division I program in USA from 2021–2025. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, with a focus on coaching and leadership.

Jack’s coaching philosophy centres on the idea that the biggest gains in a player’s performance come from better strategic and mental decisions, supported by technical development.
