Game-Changing Technology for Golf Instruction.

Imagine taking a golf lesson that removes any doubt about what your golf swing is doing. Imagine having the confidence to know exactly what to work on. Even picture a scenario where you can virtually see yourself on every swing. This is now a reality with Grooves Golf.

In our experience, mistakes are made when the diagnosis of a fault is incorrect and subsequently the root cause is not dealt with. With our state-of-the-art measuring technology at hand we are able to fully analyse the golfer’s ball flight, club data and body motions quickly and with incredible accuracy.

GEARS 3D Optical Motion Capture System

GEARS 3d analysis software

A full swing club and body tracking system used to measure and analyse every nuance of a swing, in full 3D, from address to follow-through.

Unlike Trackman and FlightScope, it’s not a Doppler radar system; it’s a motion-capture system built on the same technology used by biomechanists and filmmakers. With Gears, eight 1.7-megapixel cameras run at 360 frames per second creating measurements as fine as 0.2 mm. There are no wires, and it works for any golfer and any golf club.

gc2 & hmt

With the GC2, you can practice or play golf in any environment with equally trusted results. The high-resolution cameras capture up to 10,000 frames per second and produces the most accurate measurements of ball characteristics at launch. HMT (Head Measurement Technology) combines with the GC2 to precisely capture club head data with an ease and accuracy never before seen. With HMT, the most comprehensive analysis of a player's swing and club head performance is now at your fingertips. Instantly see critical data such as club head speed, club path, smash factor, dynamic loft, and lie — even impact location.

Grooves Golf uses GCT/HMT

Grooves Golf uses Trackman

Trackman is an industry leading doppler radar launch monitor. Used by the world’s best players the radar system tracks everything the club does before, during, and after impact - from commonly known parameters like Club Path and Face Angle to Swing Direction and Spin Loft. The system also tracks the full ball flight - from launch to landing and everything in between; including Launch Angle, Spin Rate and curvature.

swing catalyst

Grooves Golf uses Swing Catalyst

The Swing Catalyst Balance Plate adds an important dimension to golf instruction, and offers the user a "peek behind the curtain". The Balance Plate, consisting of more than 2000 high-resolution pressure sensors, provides detailed foot pressure data, accurate pressure distribution, real time centre of pressure (CoP) and CoP patterns. All elements that cannot be determined by the best trained eye or even expensive high-speed cameras.

Grooves Golf uses Hackmotion

A cutting-edge wrist sensor for teaching correct wrist motion throughout the swing for compressed, tour-like shots. Wrist angles have a direct relationship to the clubface. Precise wrist data provides immediate feedback on wrist positions and makes motion learning that much faster. The sensor system measures 3D wrist angles and is designed for both full swing or short game and provides real-time biofeedback to develop feel for the desired wrist position.

live view

Better than a mirror, Live View Golf can be placed anywhere to monitor your swing from any angle. Live View provides instant visual feedback just like a real mirror to match your body movements. This feedback links the visual and physical movements to create accurate kinesthetic feedback for dramatically accelerated learning.
